Good Afternoon Kessler Families,
We have a ton of fun activities going on at Kessler in the next couple of months! I want to give you a quick briefing, so you can mark your calendars if you haven’t already. Please keep an eye on reminder emails from Mrs. Carter as well. We love our family and community participation in our events.
This Friday is Tie-dye T-Shirt Day! In the afternoon, we will be tie-dying shirts in preparation for our whole school to attend the Carroll Girls Basketball game next week. If you would like to volunteer to help you should have received a sign-up genius email from Mrs. Carter today. If so….wear old clothing! LOL! Your teachers will keep their students’ T-shirts at school for any upcoming field trips for the remainder of the year.
Next Tuesday, October 30th from 5:30 – 7:00 in the Kessler parking lot is our Trunk or Treat Family Night If you are setting up a trunk, please be in the parking lot no later than 5:30. If you are coming to trunk or treat or paint pumpkins, please come anytime between 5:30 and 7:00. This is such a fun event for our children! Let’s hope for a beautiful warm evening!

This is a unique opportunity for your students to step foot on a college campus as well as see a college basketball game. Last week we had a “Champions of Character” all school assembly. The Carroll Basketball Coach and players came to visit with us about Leadership, Responsibility, Integrity, Respect and Being a good sport.
MBI Awards Ceremony – Friday November 2nd at 2:45. If your child is receiving an award, you will have received an email from Mrs. Carter. During our awards assembly we recognize students for being Safe, Respectful, Responsible, and a Learner (Our Cougar Creed). We celebrate by giving awards quarterly.
